At Edu Give CIC, community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that learning is more powerful when it brings people together, creating spaces where skills, stories, and experiences can be shared.

Through our courses, events, and projects, we aim to:

  • 🤝 Connect people – reducing isolation and building friendships across generations.

  • 🎨 Encourage creativity – giving everyone a chance to express themselves and discover new talents.

  • 🌍 Celebrate diversity – recognising and valuing the many voices that make up our community.

  • 📚 Support growth – offering opportunities that build confidence, skills, and pathways for the future.

From children’s fun days and creative workshops to elderly meet-ups and heritage projects, Edu Give is more than an organisation — it’s a community hub where everyone is welcome.

Together, we create, learn, and grow.

Our Community Projects

Elderly Meetup - 2025

Edu Give CIC is hosting Elderly Meetup – 2025 to bring older and younger generations together in Birmingham. Many elderly people are left alone, which can have a serious impact on their mental health and wellbeing.

This project creates a welcoming space where older community members can connect, share their stories, and feel valued. At the same time, we encourage young people to join in, listen, and build meaningful relationships across generations.

By bridging the gap between young and old, we aim to reduce loneliness, improve mental wellbeing, and celebrate the wisdom and experiences of our elders.

Knife Crime Workshop - 2025

Knife Crime Workshop Project – 2025
Edu Give CIC is delivering school workshops across Birmingham to raise awareness about the dangers of knife crime. This project aims to give children and young people the knowledge, confidence, and guidance they need to make positive choices and stay safe.

Through interactive sessions, role-play, and real-life stories, our workshops highlight:

  • The risks and consequences of carrying a knife

  • Safer ways to handle conflict and peer pressure

  • Building respect, resilience, and community responsibility

By working directly in schools, we hope to empower the next generation to reject knife crime and create safer communities across Birmingham.

City of Young Voices Workshop - 2025

Amplifying the stories of Birmingham’s next generation:
City of Young Voices celebrates the creativity, resilience, and imagination of Birmingham’s young people. Too often, their voices are overlooked in decisions that shape the city. This project gives them the tools, training, and platforms to be heard. Through a series of free workshops in digital photography, video, podcasting, and oral history, participants aged 16–25 will explore identity, heritage, and community pride. They will work alongside professional artists, educators, and mentors to document their lives and the stories that matter most to them. The outputs — from exhibitions and podcasts to an online digital archive — will not only showcase their talent but also preserve their contributions for future generations. In doing so, City of Young Voices strengthens intergenerational dialogue, builds digital and creative skills, and empowers young people to become leaders in shaping Birmingham’s cultural future.
